4. Fill in the baby’s information
5. Upload required documents
6. Submit the application for review

After the online application is approved, the consulate will inform the applicant how to submit the physical documents.

• Attending an in-person appointment

The consulate will verify the documents and complete the final review.

Once the application is approved, the Chinese consulate will issue the Chinese Travel Document.

The travel document is typically valid for two years and allows the child to travel to mainland China.
